Featuring Quinacridone gold and Transparent red oxide as a contemporary twist on classic Raw sienna and Burnt sienna tones. These two modern variations on essential earthy shades have strong tinting strength, making them exciting to mix with vibrant colors!

Transparent red oxide is a warm rusty orange color perfect for adding layers and light to earth tones. Mix this moderately granulating red oxide with ultramarine blue for dramatic sky washes or modify sap green in landscapes to achieve rich moody greens.

Each Mixing palette includes the synthetic Kazan pocket brush 1327 size 8 by @tintorettobrushes!

Some favorite mixes:

Glorious greens by combing Royal yellow with ultramarine blue and Quinacridone gold with Transparent cerulean.

Vermilion and Trans. cerulean combine for rusty reds and deep purples, while Permanent carmine and Ultramarine blue mix for a range of granulating violets.

Royal yellow and vermillion together create intense orange hues, while Quinacridone gold with Alizarin Crimson create luminous and transparent deep firey colors!

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.

The Blue palette 12 handmade watercolor set is packaged with original marbled paper by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes inside an elegant gift box.

A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. Pans may contain small imperfections like tiny bubbles and minor blemishes. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is a sign of the human touch that goes into making each and every unique pan!
