These special handmade drawing stones are made from natural pigments and can be combined with watercolor. The drawing stones work like soft pastels, allowing for expansive, expressive mark making!

Raw Sienna, Mount Amita is made with PY 43.

The drawn mark can be worked into and blended with our gum arabic water-based binding medium. Try also our new Fabriano paper packs with pastel primer. The a mild toothy support of a pumice coating is perfect for mixed technique and available in white or mixed colors.

Now available in over 20 colors and two sizes! The larger pieces can also be split into small pieces to gain sharper edges/points for more detailed work.

All colours are made with pigments from natural earth, mineral, plant or insect origin and offer a unique departure point for the creation of new and intuitive artworks. Drawing stones by @wallace_seymour.
